Indian Food Database: 50 Curated Nutrition Pages
IRONSLOG's full Indian food database has 1,579 items — dals, breads, dairy, rice dishes, curries and more — searchable inside the app's nutrition log. This hub links to 50 of them with dedicated nutrition pages covering calories, macros, protein-per-100-kcal, portion guidance and swap suggestions, chosen for the highest search intent across staples, protein sources and common breakfasts.
How were these 50 foods chosen?
Everyday staples (roti, rice, dal, curd), the highest-protein options (whey, paneer, egg, chicken, dal, soy), common breakfasts (poha, idli, dosa, upma) and the most-searched restaurant dishes people look up calories for (butter chicken, biryani, palak paneer) — all verified against the real dataset, nothing invented.
Where are the other 1,529 foods?
They're in the app's nutrition log, searchable by name with alias matching (e.g. "roti" also matches "chapati") — see nutrition planner. This hub only links out to the 50 with a dedicated, original nutrition page.
Why don't these pages use Recipe or NutritionInformation schema?
Both require an actual recipe (ingredients and method) to be valid — applying them to a plain nutrition-facts page would be a structured-data misuse. The numbers are presented in a visible, captioned table instead.
