Documentation
This is IRONSLOG’s product documentation — eight reference pages explaining exactly how each screen works: ghost numbers and timers on the log screen, how a plan and its week overrides are structured, how nutrition targets and meal swaps are calculated, what each analytics number means, and how data export, PWA install and trainer mode work.
How is documentation different from the guides section?
The guides section is task-oriented and written for search — "how do I log a workout." Documentation is reference-oriented — "exactly how does the rest timer decide when to start." If you want the mechanics behind a feature rather than a walkthrough, start here instead.
Does documentation cover the AI features honestly?
Yes — both the AI workout planner and AI nutrition generation are documented as beta features with their actual behavior (a reviewable draft, checked against your target, never auto-applied), not described as finished or fully autonomous.
| Page | Covers |
|---|---|
| Getting started | Signup, account type, first plan and first log |
| Logging a workout | Ghost numbers, timers, plate calculator, swipe-to-delete |
| Building a plan | Day types, week overrides, the CSV plan format |
| Nutrition | Calorie/macro target, meal slots, swaps, AI diet generation |
| Analytics | How every chart and number is calculated |
| Data export | The three CSV exports and plan re-import |
| Installing the PWA | Install steps and what works offline |
| Trainer mode | Roster, invite codes, assignment, chat |
Key takeaways
- Documentation explains exactly how a feature works; guides explain how to accomplish a task.
- Eight pages cover onboarding, logging, planning, nutrition, analytics, export, PWA install and trainer mode.
- AI features are documented as beta, with their actual review-before-apply behavior.
- Every claim in the docs section is checked against the relevant screen or service in the app itself.
