Getting Started with IRONSLOG
Getting started with IRONSLOG takes four steps: sign up with email or Google, choose a trainee or trainer account, set up a plan (template, AI-drafted, or built by hand), and log your first workout. Nutrition setup is optional and can be done any time from the nutrition screen.
What happens right after I sign up?
You choose an account type — trainee or trainer — during onboarding. A trainee with an existing trainer can enter that trainer’s invite code at this point to subscribe to their plans and share progress; otherwise onboarding moves straight to setting up a training plan.
Do I need to set up nutrition before I can start logging workouts?
No — workout logging and nutrition tracking are independent. You can log your first workout immediately after onboarding and set up a calorie/macro target on the nutrition screen whenever you’re ready, even weeks later.
What’s the fastest way to get to a first logged set?
Use the 12-week starter template during plan setup rather than answering the AI planner’s questions or building a plan by hand — it’s the single fastest path from signup to a pre-built daily log with real exercises in it.
| Step | Where |
|---|---|
| Sign up (email or Google) | Auth screen |
| Choose trainee or trainer | Onboarding |
| Set up a plan | Template, AI-drafted, or manual |
| Log your first workout | Log screen, pre-built from your plan |
| Set a nutrition target (optional) | Nutrition screen, any time |
