Trainer Mode, Explained
IRONSLOG’s trainer role adds a roster dashboard, an invite code trainees can use to subscribe to your plans, per-trainee progress review, and a direct chat thread with each connected trainee — all on the same free plan as a trainee account.
How does a trainee connect to a trainer?
A trainer generates an invite code from their dashboard; a trainee enters that code (during onboarding or later from settings) to subscribe to that trainer’s plans and share their logged progress. There’s no separate marketplace or discovery feature — the connection is always initiated with a code the trainer shares directly.
What can a trainer actually see and do for a connected trainee?
The roster dashboard lists every connected trainee; from there a trainer can assign a plan and review that trainee’s logged progress. A direct chat thread exists between trainer and each connected trainee, and trainers and trainees can share training updates through a feed.
Is trainer mode a separate paid product?
No — choosing "trainer" as your account type at signup is free, on the same no-paid-tier plan as every other account. There’s no separate trainer subscription or trainee-count limit built into the product.
